Cecil’s Sparkle Pheasant Tail Video

Here is another fly tying video for all you bluegill fans. Cecil ties up the Sparkle Pheasant Tail Nymph which he claims is the world best bluegill fly. Cecil does a great job of explaining each step as well as variations that are also effective. He actually shows two versions of this fly, the original as it was shown to him and his version that he has had great success with.

As we do with all of our video sessions, We had a lot of fun recording this and this time we decided to share some of the outtakes with our audience. As important as fly fishing is in the grand scheme, like all other things you have to keep it in perspective and have fun. Which we do! – Enjoy.

Once we get on a roll it seems things just pour out of Warmwater Chronicles. We already had an article on the Resources at Rio and now Cecil has his article published on Mike Exl.

Mike did a presentation at the Indianapolis Fly Casters this past February on Carp fishing. Needless to say, all were very impressed and enjoyed spending the evening with Mike and learning about this ever popular fly fishing target.

Ho Ho Ho from Warmwater Chronicles. In the spirit of Christmas we are kicking off our first fly Give-A-Way. We have a dozen flies to give to someone. There are four flies each from Cecil, Jr. and I but you'll have to guess which ones.

All you have to do to win is head over to our Facebook page and LIKE Warmwater Chronicles. Even if you have already liked us in the past you will be entered to win. But we would appreciate you spreading the word about Warmwater Chronicles around Facebook. We would like to jump up to over 300 likes. The drawing will be on Christmas Day.
