I have been designing, using and maintaining websites for almost 20 years. I have seen a lot of changes over that time and they only seem to be accelerating as the years go by. It is a very different playing field these days with social media, blogging, SEO, advertising, interactive content, HTML5, server side, client side, mobile content and on and on.
Most of us only wanted to find a way to let the writing badger out a bit and have some fun with something we love; fishing. Next thing you know it turns into more hours than you planned and feeling pressure of producing content as well as maximizing exposure.
Fortunately, the good folks at Angling Trade are aware of the need for some help for fledgling writers, videographer, and bloggers. Beginning in the next Angling Trade E-Newsletter Nick Hoover will have a column on a range of topics including website design, blogging, media content, etc… Aside from being a great publication to ready anyway, this column will make it even better for those of us who publish digitally. I mean who would have thought TAGS is something other than that little bit of mono you clip off your knots? Go figure.
